Stulecie przywrócenia stosunków dyplomatycznych 1919–2019. Cykl corocznych Spotkań polsko-hiszpańskich, organizowany przez Wydział „Artes Liberales” Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, Ambasadę Hiszpanii w Polsce oraz Instytut Cervantesa w Warszawie, ma na celu umożliwienie debaty polskich i hiszpańskich ekspertów na tematy ważne z punktu widzenia historii i kultury obydwu krajów. Debaty te traktują o Polsce i Hiszpanii, analizowanych osobno oraz w ujęciu porównawczym, przezwyciężając tradycyjne badania kontaktów bilateralnych.W 2018 roku rozpoczęliśmy cykl Spotkań z analizą wyzwań i aspiracji obydwu krajów w kontekście europejskim i globalnym w szeroko rozumianym wieku XIX, od rozpoczęcia rewolucji francuskiej do zakończenia I wojny światowej.Drugie Spotkanie wpisuje się w refleksję nad stuleciem polsko-hiszpańskich stosunków dyplomatycznych, przywróconych 20 maja 1919 roku…

The 100th anniversary of the restoration odiplomatic relations 1919-2019. The annual cycle of Polish-Spanish meetings, organized by the “Artes Liberales” faculty of the University of Warsaw, the Spanish Embassy in Poland and Cervantes’ Institute in Warsaw, aim to enable a debate between Polish and Spanish experts, about issues that are important in aspects of history and cultures of both those countries. Those debates treat of Poland and Spain, analyzed separately and in comparison, overcoming the traditional studies of bilateral contacts. In 2018 we began the cycle of encounters with an analysis of challenges and aspirations of those two nations in both, the European, and the global context, in the broadly understood XIX century, since the begging of the French Revolution, till the end of the IWW.The second meeting fits into the reflections about a century of polish-Spanish diplomatic relations, restored on the 20th of May, 1919…
