Wyniki Oscarów zawsze wzbudzają ogromne zainteresowanie na całym świecie wśród fanów kinematografii i nie tylko. Nic dziwnego, bo ta nagroda uznawana jest za najbardziej prestiżową nagrodę filmową. Południowokoreański reżyser Bong Joon-ho otrzymał aż cztery Oscary za: najlepszy pełnometrażowy film międzynarodowy, najlepszy oryginalny scenariusz, reżyserię oraz najlepszy film Parasite. Najlepsza aktorka pierwszoplanowa to Rene Zellweger, nagrodzona za rolę w filmie Judy. Joaquin Phoenix w końcu otrzymał swojego pierwszego Oscara za pierwszoplanową rolę w filmie Joker. Również Brad Pitt doczekał się pierwszego aktorskiego Oscara za drugoplanową rolę w filmie Pewnego razu… w Hollywood. Islandzka kompozytorka Hildur Gu?nadóttir to czwarta kobieta, która otrzymała Oscara za muzykę filmową do Jokera. Na Gali pojawili się także artyści z Polski: twórcy filmu Boże Ciało, między innymi Jan Komasa (nominowany reżyser) i Bartosz Bielenia. Niestety, mimo świetnych recenzji i sympatii, z jaką spotkali się w Hollywood, film nie otrzymał upragnionej statuetki. Jednak cieszymy się i jesteśmy dumni, że polska kinematografia sięga dość wysoko…

92. Academy Awards Ceremony is behind us. The results of the Oscars are always getting attention of cinematography fans and others around the world. That shouldn’t come as a surprise since this award is considered the most prestigious in the film industry. South-Korean director Bong Joon-ho received four Oscars for: Best International Feature Film, Best Writing (Original Sreenplay), Best Director and Best Picture with his movie Parasite. Best Actress in Leading Role went to Rene Zellweger for her role in Judy. Joaquin Phoenix finally won his first Oscar for his leading role in Joker. Brad Pitt also won his first for his supporting role in Once upon a Time…in Hollywood. Icelandic composer Hildur Gu?nadóttir is the forth woman to win an Oscar for Music (Original Score) for the Joker. There were also some polish artists attending the Gala: creators of Corpus Christi – among others: Jan Komasa (the nominated director) and Bartosz Bielenia (the leading actor). Unfortunately, despite the great reviews and fondness, which the film met in Hollywood, it did not win the longed-for statuette.
